About Us

CreepsCollective is a hybrid café and arts venue located in Rhode Island, built to support creatives, foster connection, and offer something different. Our space blends quality with character. A place where community and culture meet over coffee, wine, and live performance.

We serve a rotating menu of thoughtfully sourced coffee, pastries, small bites, beer, and natural wine. You’ll also find locally made art, zines, books, and fresh flowers available for purchase, with a focus on supporting independent creators and small businesses.

Our calendar features a wide range of events, from jazz nights, drag brunches, and poetry readings to experimental performances, markets, and gallery installations. We welcome short-term menus and pop-ups by guest chefs, bakers, and collaborators, keeping the space fresh and evolving.

Founded by an artist and operated by a small, hands-on team. CreepsCollective is committed to authenticity, inclusion, and accessibility. We’re here to hold space for creativity in all its forms, without pretense.

About the Founder:

Arael Smith is a lifelong artist with two degrees in the arts, including a BFA in Visual Arts and Emerging Media Management and a minor in Anthropology. With a background that blends creative direction, cultural insight, and operational experience. She has worked as a studio assistant, handled marketing and branding strategy, and managed bookkeeping for independent businesses.

This combination of artistic vision, real-world business experience, and a deep understanding of community culture makes her uniquely qualified to lead CreepsCollective. Not just as a venue owner, but as a curator, builder, and steward of a truly inclusive and creative space.
